Canada was an active member of the Centre for the Analysis and Dissemination of Demonstrated Energy Technologies (CADDET) from its beginning in 1989 to its conclution in 2005. This international information network helped educate people about renewable energy and energy-saving technologies that have worked in member countries.

This portal to the CADDET international site offers Canadian case studies and other content in both English and French, as well as access to thousands of other reports from around the world.

CADDET was also a partner with GREENTIE, an international directory of suppliers of energy-efficient equipment. CADDET and GREENTIE were part of an International Energy Agency (IEA) agreement known as Energy and Environmental Technologies Information Centres (EETIC).
