Home Energy Efficiency Loan

Objectives and Description:

The Home Energy Efficiency Loan is a convenient and affordable financing option for homeowners to make energy efficiency upgrades to their home. The monthly payment is added to the energy bill and no down payment is required. The loan covers upgrades for:
  • windows and doors;
  • residential space heating equipment;
  • geothermal and cold climate air source heat pumps;
  • insulation;
  • air leakage sealing;
  • ventilation;
  • residential water heating equipment;
  • level 2 electric vehicle chargers; and
  • solar photovoltaic systems.
