  • The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) offers its Energy Efficiency Test Methods for Three-Phase Induction Motors for sale online.
  • The International Copper Association provides a number of resources on energy-efficient motors.
  • Motor Decisions Matter, a national U.S. campaign, offers information on setting up a motor management plan to ensure motor availability, enhanced productivity and lower energy costs.
  • MotorMaster+, developed by Washington State University's Extension Energy Program for the U.S. Department of Energy, is the software program on which CanMOST is based.
  • The Motor Resource Center is a partnership between Washington State University and the Advanced Energy Corporation. The Center has programs in education and motor systems information, management and research. MotorMaster+ software for motor selection is available from this site.
  • North American Manufacturers Association (NEMA) established the NEMA Premium™ energy efficiency motors program to provide highly energy-efficient products that meet the needs of users and manufacturers.
  • The Office of Industrial Technologies (U.S. Department of Energy) has an excellent Web site on best practices for motors. Offered are tip sheets, case studies and other publications on motor energy efficiency, and links to online software. Also available is the excellent manual Energy Management for Motor Drive Systems.
  • Hydro-Québec's Empower Program for Industrial Systems offers tools to help small to medium-sized companies undertake electricity management measures and estimate potential savings.
